Wholesale Food Distributor based in Windermere in the heart of Cumbria, offering a daily delivery service to most areas of the Lake District and the surrounding countryside.
McClure’s was founded in 1945, and with our roots in fresh produce, have expanded our range to encompass all food & non-food requirements to the foodservice & catering industry.
Our range of over 7,500 lines includes Fresh Fruit & Vegetables, Dairy Goods, Bakery & Morning Goods, Delicatessen & Fresh Meats, Grocery, Dry Goods, Frozen Foods, Soft & Alcoholic Drinks and Household Goods.
We pride ourselves in supporting local producers and act as sole distributors for many regional brands.
In addition to all the major brands we also offer our own label brand Sterling Caterers Essentials alternatives that offer high quality goods at competitive prices.
The company is committed to providing excellent products and a superb service to its customers. In order to achieve this we are involved in all aspects of food safety and regulation and seek to continuously improve our systems to exceed customer expectations.
Support, Training & Services Ltd (STS) helps prepare our documented procedures. Our STS accreditation qualifies McClure’s to supply the NHS Trust Hospitals throughout Cumbria.
McClure’s are also an approved supplier to the National Trust in Cumbria.
South Lakeland District Council Environment & Housing Department regularly inspect our full Risk Assessment of our premises in accordance with Health & Safety requirements.
