POPULAR LAKELAND COMPANY APPOINTS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

TO HELP DEVELOP AND DELIVER NEW AND ENHANCED SERVICES

W. McClure Limited has appointed Bill Ridgway as Managing Director. This gives the progressive business the additional specialist skills and experience necessary to maximise the potential of new and enhanced services to its customers.

This demonstrates further commitment to service growth following its extensive programme of investment in Windermere.

Bill Ridgway, who has considerable experience in the food sector and shares the same values in customer service, joined the company on 6th September.

Keith McClure will become Executive Chairman and continue his full time role leading the company, and Matt and Ben McClure will remain as Operations Director and Sales Director respectively.

Keith McClure commented, “Bill Ridgway shares the same dedication to customer service and quality of products as McClure's has demonstrated since the business was set up by my father in 1945.”

“Following on from the opening of our new building in College Road, we are now able to offer a new and enhanced service to shorten our delivery times and maintain our ‘customer first' attitude.
