Taste of the Lakes is a family run business with origins in local Cumbrian farming. Our passion is to produce quality fayre in a time-honoured fashion with hand-crafted skills.
We produce award winning, traditional, quality smoked meat and fish products along with premium cooked meats, pates, terrines and stocks.
Taste of the Lakes are committed to traditional methods of food production; hot smoking, dry cure and cold smoking and using only the finest ingredients for everything from our Terrines to our Pancetta whilst ensuring the demands of the modern consumer are met in taste, quality and excellence.
Our new high specification premises in Cumbria are state of the art and home to our traditional smoking kilns where we can produce small batches of the finest food ensuring consistency and quality throughout our product range.
